Which option should I choose?
In short: choose “Entire History” so Health Island can account for your island from its first day.
Our recommendation: “Entire History”. This matters especially if you have used Health Island for more than 30 days, reinstalled the app or restored your island from iCloud.
Just getting started?
If your island is less than 30 days old, “Last 30 Days” is usually enough. Choosing “Entire History” now means you will not need to revisit the setting later.
Used Health Island for longer?
Choose “Entire History”. With “Last 30 Days”, Health Island cannot see earlier steps or active energy, which can matter after reinstalling or restoring.
If older data is missing
A logbook message appears only when older data that matters to your island is genuinely outside the permitted period. Existing finds remain, and missing time is never treated as missing effort.
Change the selection
- Open Health on your iPhone.
- Tap your profile picture.
- Under Privacy, open Apps.
- Choose Health Island.
- Enable Steps and Active Energy and choose “Entire History” instead of “Last 30 Days”.
Then reopen Health Island. The logbook message disappears once the older data is available.
What happens to the data?
Health Island still reads only steps and active energy, only on iPhone. It writes nothing to Apple Health and never syncs this health data through iCloud or sends it to the website or support.
The message remains?
Check the general Apple Health guide. If the gap remains, email [email protected] with the message and app version, but no health values.
